Grow a Garden 2 Calculator

Price a harvest by weight and mutation, gauge the odds of rolling a heavy fruit, and check what your pets are worth — every number read straight from the official game code. Covers both worlds: Garden Valley and Fall Harvest, whose entries are tagged FALL and priced in Leaves.

Pick a mutation
Estimated sell price
  • Each fruit
  • Size bonus
  • Daily Deal (×2.2)
🎲 Double or Nothing Every flip is a 50/50 coin toss — win to double the sale, lose once and it all zeroes out.
If every flip lands
Odds of that streak

We build the estimate from the crop's base value scaled by size (weight ÷ base weight), the chosen mutation, freshness and any friend boost. Daily Deal buys a single fruit at 2.2× its sell value; Double or Nothing stakes the whole sale on a 50/50 flip.

Base sell values

Each crop at normal size, before any mutation, alongside its base weight. Scale these up with size and a mutation using the calculator above. Includes all 32 Fall Harvest crops — their values are in Leaves, and the Maple line matches its Garden Valley twin exactly.

Mutation multipliers

A fruit carries at most one mutation at a time. Single-harvest crops retain only 15% of the bonus above 1×. Mutations apply in both worlds — including the two Fall Harvest adds, Amber and Veil.

Mutation Sell multiplier How to get it
Glow ×80 Star Fruit plants beam nearby fruit at night
Eclipsed ×80 Eclipse weather (harvest an Eclipse Bloom fruit)
Bloodlit ×70 Blood Moon night
Ignited ×60 Sunburst weather
Chakra ×60 Fall Harvest — Kitsune night steal from an empty garden
Starstruck ×50 Starfall weather
Aurora ×40 Aurora weather
Rainbow ×30 Rare growth roll; boosted by Rainbow weather
Electric ×25 Lightning weather
Amber ×20 Fall Harvest — only from an Amber Cranberry fruit
Veil ×20 Fall Harvest — planting a seed with a Shadow Dragon equipped
Frozen ×20 Snowfall weather
Gold ×10 Random chance as crops grow (the classic value mutation)
Chained ×8 Special event

Fall Harvest mutations

Two mutations exist only because of Fall Harvest content. Both stack into the same slot as any other mutation, so a fruit still carries just one.

  • Chakra ×60 Kitsune night steal — chance to stamp Chakra onto the fruit it takes from an empty garden
  • Amber ×20 Only from an Amber Cranberry fruit winning its ripen roll
  • Veil ×20 Chance on planting a seed while a Shadow Dragon is equipped

Sprinkler size luck

The weight roll is driven by size luck. Only your strongest in-range sprinkler is applied, and the total is capped at 100 — so a single Super Sprinkler already maxes it. Fall's Syrup pair are stat-for-stat reskins, so they roll identical weights.

Sprinkler Size luck Growth Radius
Common Sprinkler Common Sprinkler +7 ×1.5 20
Uncommon Sprinkler Uncommon Sprinkler +21 ×2 25
Rare Sprinkler Rare Sprinkler +40 ×3 30
Legendary Sprinkler Legendary Sprinkler +65 ×4 40
Super Sprinkler Super Sprinkler +100 ×5 55
Syrup Sprinkler Syrup Sprinkler FALL +7 ×1.5 20
Super Syrup Sprinkler Super Syrup Sprinkler FALL +100 ×5 55

Watering cans

Watering cans speed a plant up — they do not add size luck, so they never make heavier (more valuable) fruit. That is what sprinklers are for. Fall's Syrup cans copy their Garden Valley twins exactly.

Watering can Growth Lasts Splash
Common Watering Can Common Watering Can ×3 10s 5
Super Watering Can Super Watering Can ×300 15s 8
Syrup Watering Can Syrup Watering Can FALL ×3 10s 5
Super Syrup Watering Can Super Syrup Watering Can FALL ×300 15s 8

Pet sell values

A pet sells for half of its base price, in its own world's currency. Size and type variants strengthen the ability rather than the sell value. The 8 Fall Harvest pets are tamed from the wild rather than hatched, and are paid for in Leaves.

Calculator FAQ

How does gag.gg work out a Grow a Garden 2 crop value?

We take the crop's base value and scale it by size, mutation, freshness and any friend boost. Size is the fruit's weight divided by the crop's base weight, raised to the power of 2.5 — the exact exponent the live game runs — so heavier fruit is worth disproportionately more. Choose the crop, type in a weight, tap a mutation, and the tool returns the estimate.

Why does weight matter so much?

Because value climbs with size to the 2.5 power. That growth eases off once a fruit clears about 5× its base size, but below that a heavier fruit can be worth several times a normal one. Mushroom and Bamboo are deliberate exceptions with gentler curves.

Which mutation pays out the most?

Glow and Eclipsed lead at ×80, then Bloodlit (×70) and Ignited (×60). Fall Harvest adds two more: Amber, which only comes from an Amber Cranberry fruit, and Veil, which only comes from planting with a Shadow Dragon equipped — both ×20. A fruit only ever carries one mutation, and single-harvest crops keep just 15% of the bonus above 1×.

Does the calculator work for Fall Harvest crops?

Yes. Fall Harvest runs the exact same sell formula — the same size exponent, the same mutation multipliers, the same freshness and friend boosts — so its crops and pets price just like Garden Valley's. Pick any crop tagged FALL and the tool switches the currency to Leaves. The one thing that never happens is conversion: Leaves and Sheckles are separate wallets and do not exchange.

Are Maple crops worth the same as the originals?

Almost always yes — Fall's Maple line is a straight reskin, so Maple Carrot carries Carrot's base value and base weight, and so on down the ladder. Two are worth MORE at size: Mushroom and Bamboo each carry a per-crop payout nerf that the game applies by exact name, and the Maple versions aren't on that list, so a big Maple Mushroom or Maple Bamboo out-earns its Garden Valley twin. The calculator reflects that.

What will a pet sell for?

Half of its base price, in whichever world's currency it lives in. Big (×2), Mega (×3) and Rainbow (×1.25) variants make a pet's ability hit harder but leave its sell value untouched. Fall Harvest's Shadow Dragon is the most valuable pet in either world at 30,000,000 Leaves base.

How do Daily Deal and Double or Nothing pay out?

Daily Deal buys one fruit at 2.2× its usual sell value on a cooldown. Double or Nothing stakes an entire sale on a 50/50 flip — land it and the payout doubles; miss and you walk away with nothing.

Where do these numbers come from?

Every base value, weight, multiplier and formula on this page is read directly from the official Grow a Garden 2 game code, so the estimates track what the live game actually pays.
